H.E Mr. M.R Likate visited Okinawa prefecture from 20 – 23 October 2009. He was accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Mabataung Likate. In conjunction with this visit, the ambassador paid courtesy calls on the both Deputy Governor Ms. Katsuko Asato and Chairperson of Okinawa Prefectural Assembly, Mr. Zenshin Takamine. The visit was also marked with a tour of JICA Okinawa Training Centre and Peace memorial Park in Itoman The Ambassador, H.E Mr. M.R Likate presented Ms. Katsuko Asato with a Basotho Hat (Mokorotlo) gift as a token of appreciation. Mr. Zenshin Takamine, Chairman of Okinawa Prefectural Assembly welcomes H.E Mr. M.R Likate to Okinawa Prefecture.
